Man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Sovereign God

My sign choir has chosen the most beautiful song for our next 'performance'. The song is Sovereign God by Maurette Brown Clark, and I just love it. Of course, as far as I know, there is no sign for the word sovereign, so this has been a bit challenging for me. Not necessarily because I can't come up with something else, but because the definition for sovereign is first, or foremost...which we all know God is both of those things, but to me He is so much more than that! The lyrics are below, I think it's just beautiful and I can't wait to put signs to this song! Pray that we can all get it, I have a few newbies in the group. I know it will be anointed though!

There aren't even words to describe just how great You are
In all Your majesty, You continually provide for me
There just isn't anything that You can't do
Lord I've seen Your work before
So I'll trust You all the more...because You are

Chorus:
You are the sovereign God
Bigger than all my problems...and every situation
There is nothing too hard
For the sovereign God

A wave of Your hand can command
The seas to hold their peace
If You can handle the seas
Then I know that You can deal
With all my needs
So I will put every situation
Into Your capable hands
I don't have to know the plan...because You are

(Chorus)

He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly
Above all we ask for
So take all your burdens
And lay them at His feet
And watch Him meet the need
We have the victory...because

(Chorus)

Calorie Counter

I found an awesome website this afternoon that will allow you to calculate the amount of calories you will burn while doing certain activities. If you click on the link below, it will bring up a page that asks for your weight, and then the length of time that you do a certain activity. It will then take you to another page that has calculated how many calories you burn doing all of the activities for that amount of time. It ranges anywhere from sitting at your computer, to high impact aerobic workouts.
For example, I put in my weight and 2 hours and I burn 800 calories doing high impact aerobics for that amount of time, and 170 calories if I sit at the computer for 2 hours....which would actually put me to sleep.
As you can see by this site, even the smallest activities can burn calories...of course the more active you are, the more you will burn. (I certainly am not saying that you should sit at your computer all day...that was just an example.)
